Fred gained significant experience, particularly in matters relating the refinancing of contingent liabilities. He inter alia advised the largest retailer and media company as listed on the JSE, in dealing with said liabilities. During 2004, he was instrumental in shaping the law firm known as DSC Inc. which he served as Chairman until 2011. DSC Inc. was the result of the merger of 3 law firm with KJ Lanser. Here he gained valuable experience in the assessment of risk relating to legal matters and the concomitant funding of such matters.

After Fred and KJ sold their controlling interest to their junior partners at DSC Inc. in 2011, he continued to practice under the name and style of LLA Inc. Attorneys. Fred has been involved in numerous commercial transactions, advising on acquisitions, mergers, reverse listings and capital raising exercises.  He has gained valuable experience in the field of corporate finance over the years. In 2014, KJ Lanser Attorneys and Marietjie Lanser Attorneys merged into Lanser Liedtke & Associates Inc., also known as LLA Inc. Attorneys to form the firm in its current stature.
