During this time, Christelle was fortunate enough to secure a post in the South African Police Services as a finance and administration clerk, where she worked for almost 8 years. Christelle says that apart from the invaluable experience gained at SAPS, her position in the SAPS allowed her to complete her LLB degree for which she is very grateful. After graduating with an LLB degree in 2016, Christelle began her articles working as an Article Clerk at LLA Inc. In June 2018, she completed her articles and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa and was offered a position as an attorney at LLA Inc.

Having lived in rural Oudtshoorn, Christelle says that she has seen the effects of poverty, ill-health and other socio-economic problems that people face on a daily basis and feels fortunate to be able to use her skills to benefit her clients, who often come from similar circumstances.  She enjoys practicing in the field of medical negligence immensely and considers it an added bonus to be in a position to help others less fortunate.
